MCT Oil

Caprylic Triglyceride neutral oil also known as MCT oil (Medium Chain Triglyceride) is present in coconut oil. This neutral oil is non-irritating, easy to apply, and rapidly absorbed. As an ingredient in natural cosmetics, it improves their synergy when applied to the body. Irritated skins are quickly rebalanced with the use of this component.

Arachidyl Alcohol

The CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review) in an annual report published in 2008, concluded that fatty alcohols are safe.

Cetearyl alcohol

Cetearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol. It is used in cosmetics as an emollient. It thickens creams and stabilizes them. It softens and protects the skin without a greasy effect. It is approved as organic. The CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review) in an annual report published in 2008, concluded that fatty alcohols are safe.

BENZYL ALCOHOL

Benzyl Alcohol

Benzyl alcohol is one of the 26 allergens regulated by Europe. It is used as a preservative. It is naturally found present in many plants and fruits such as Jasmine, garlic, and Ylang-Ylang, or even apricot, almond, apple, and blackcurrant… Benzyl alcohol is approved as Organic.

ARACHIDYL GLUCOSIDE

Arachidyl glucoside is one of the natural emulsifiers. It offers unique rheological properties, in terms of shear, temperature, and humidity stability. lt prevents water loss from the stratum corneum. It moisturizes the skin but does not let it stay oily and mattifies it.

GLYCERYL BEHENATE

Glyceryl behenate is a diester of behenic acid. It is primarily a fatty acid product. It can form a layer on the skin, which is waterproof. This layer protects the skin from the environment and does not allow moisture to escape. Applied to the skin, it feels and looks smoother.

CANNABIDIOL

Natural Cannabidiol (CBD) inhibits the reactions caused by oxygen, thus avoiding oxidation and rancidity, it helps control the production of sebum, and it sustains the skin by keeping it in good condition. It is also a protective agent: it helps to avoid the harmful effects of external factors on the skin. XANTHAN GUM

Xanthan gum is used in cosmetics as an emulsion stabilizer. It is obtained by the fermentation of glucose with the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris. It is approved as organic. A 2016 CIR (Cosmetic Ingredient Review) study of microbial polysaccharide gums, of which Xanthan gum is a part, concludes that the ingredient is safe.

ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE POWDER*

Organic Aloe Leaf Juice Powder

It is used in cosmetics for its cooling effects and anti-inflammatory properties, it reduces itching and preserves hydration. Lightly itching, it is the ally of sensitive and reactive skin. With strong antioxidant properties, it inhibits substances that contribute to tissue deformation and stimulates collagen production. Recommended for acne-prone skin, dry, irritated, and sensitive skin, certain cases of psoriasis, dermatitis, and sunburn treatment.

Even in large amounts, tocopherol is non-irritating and very well tolerated by the skin.

POTASSIUM SORBATE

Potassium Sobrate

Potassium sorbate is used in cosmetics as a preservative. It is often found in dairy products (E202). The potassium salt of sorbic acid exists naturally in the Sorbier. It is approved as organic.

They are perfume agents that play a crucial role in cosmetics. Beyond the fruity or floral scents, terpenes are renowned for their antiseptic and antiviral properties. These extremely abundant natural agents are omnipresent in essential oils, they are present as small traces in our products.

DEHYDROACETIC ACID

Dehydroacetic acid.

Dehydroacetic acid is used in cosmetics as a preservative for its fungicidal and bactericidal functions. It is used under the name E265 in food. As it is recyclable, this product does not pose any threat to the environment and the health risks remain very low. Dehydroacetic acid is approved as organic.

BETA-SITOSTEROL

It is a fatty acid of plant-based origin that is naturally present in many fruits, vegetables, seeds, and dried fruits. It is similar to the cholesterol naturally synthesized by our body and is considered a component of the intercellular matrix of the skin. Beta-Sitosterol provides a noticeable moisturizing effect and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.

SQUALENE

Squalene is of plant-based origin and is acquired from sunflower oil and offers specific properties such as the restoration of the lipid barrier. It prevents water loss, restores the suppleness and elasticity of the skin, and has strong moisturizing power.

SODIUM HYDROXIDE

It is used to make sodium salts and to neutralize acids. In the cosmetic field, it is approved as organic and does not pose any issue under the law’s conditions.
